Meet Our Team

Donna Booker, Dental Assistant
20 years in dentistry, 17 years with Shallowford Smiles

Donna attended Chattanooga State from 1990-1995 and received the Proctor & Gamble Award. She was on the Dental Assistant Advisory Committee for 3 years and is currently the Lead Assistant at Shallowford Smiles.

Getting to work with her awesome co-workers is one of her favorite parts of her job! They make a great team. She also enjoys helping patients feel more comfortable about their smiles. At home, Donna enjoys working out, hanging out with friends and family, travel, and watching movies.

Sierra Cagle, Registered Dental Assistant and Business Administrator
5 years in dentistry, 4 years with Shallowford Smiles

On top of her certificate in Dental Assisting, Sierra has several expanded duties certifications including: radiology; monitoring nitrous oxide; applying sealants; coronal polishing; and CPR. She prides herself on taking the initiative to ensure that each patient is treated with the utmost respect and care, and that their visit is nothing but pleasant. She is committed to performing her duties to change patients’ lives, one smile at a time.

Outside of the office, Sierra is big into the outdoors, spending her time hunting and fishing. She also enjoys spending time with her family, and bicycling in downtown Chattanooga.

Wendy Stone, Registered Dental Hygienist
20 years in dentistry, 3 years with Shallowford Smiles

Wendy obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Chattanooga State in 2000, and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from East In State University in 2010. She is registered to practice dental hygiene in Tennessee and Georgia, and can legally administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.

Outside of work, Wendy and her husband raise alpacas and chickens on their farm with their little boy, Maddox. They sell the yarn made from the alpaca fleece. Wendy hand spins and dyes yarn to crotchet hats and scarves.

Sarah Banks, Dental Hygienist
10 years in dentistry, 2 1/2 years with Shallowford Smiles

Sarah completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She obtained her dental hygiene degree at the Chattanooga State Technical Community College, and was the Class President for her Dental Hygiene class, receiving an Above and Beyond Award. She also earned a certificate from the university for academic excellence. On top of her exceptional academic work, Sarah is also an American Red Cross Instructor for Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration.

Sarah enjoys spending time with family and fur babies, Domino and Dixie. You can find her cheering on the Tennessee Vols! Her other hobbies include reading, playing cards and board games.

Erica Bone, Registered Dental Assistant
8 years in dentistry, 3 years with Shallowford Smiles

Erica graduated from Chattanooga State Technical Community College and has her sealants and radiology certificates, respectively. Working at Shallowford Dental Care has taught her the real meaning of team work! She thinks Dr. Brian Wilkinson is awesome and appreciates her great team members. She couldn’t ask for a better place to work. She loves meeting new patients, making them feel comfortable, and helping everyone of them meet their dental goals.

Erica is proud of her smart, energetic 8 year old daughter. She enjoys movies, dining out, and shopping. Family time is the best past time!

Josie Holmun, Registered Dental Assistant
20 years in dentistry, 1 year with Shallowford Smiles

Josie loves witnessing how a patient’s smile restoration—or makeover!—can transform their lives. The relationships she builds with patients over the years are special to her. To serve her patients better, she pursues continuing education classes, enabling her to stay up to date on new materials and techniques in dental assisting.

Her pastimes include tennis, bowling, knitting and time spent with family and friends. Look out, baseball!

Jennifer Cook, Front Office, Registered Dental Assistant
7 years in dentistry, 1 year with Shallowford Smiles

Jennifer likes making others feel good about themselves and nurturing a good, happy environment for patients at our practice. Her additional certifications include radiology, placing sealants, monitoring nitrous oxide, CPR, and first aid!

At home, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and 2 boys, Sawyer and Noah. The family enjoys being outside and spending their summers on the lake.
